6. Grab some hula hoops from the local dollar store and see who can keep the hoop going the longest!
7. Make sand volcanoes.
- Build up a sand sculpture, leaving a hole in the top.
- Pour in red food coloring, 2 tbs baking soda, and ½ cup of vinegar...
- Watch the volcano erupt!

9. Have green pancakes and green milk for breakfast for another St. Patrick’s Day memory! (Just add a little green food coloring!)
10. Fill up water balloons and hang them from a low tree branch. Give your child a large stick and play water balloon piñatas!
11. Dreary, cool day? Freeze small toys in a large pan of water until solid. Give your child a rubber mallet to break them free.
